
On a blustery October day in 1881 Tombstone, the Earp brothers—Virgil, Wyatt and Morgan—joined Doc Holliday in an attempt to disarm several cowboys. The misdemeanor arrest went awry and the subsequent shoot-out became one of the most legendary and controversial events in the West’s history.
