Those Redheads from Seattle (Kino Lorber; $19.95); Dawson City: Frozen Time (Kino Lorber; $29.95 and pictured above). A perfect pairing: two movies set in the Klondike Gold Rush town of Dawson City, one fiction, one fact!

The 1953 offering is the first three-dimensional Musical, Those Redheads from Seattle, which pits a gambler (played by Gene Barry) against orphaned daughters of the town’s murdered newspaperman (led by Rhonda Fleming).

Dawson City: Frozen Time tells the astonishing story of a cache of “lost” movies accidentally preserved in the permafrost, opening a window on both historic Dawson and our turn-of-the-20th-century world.
