Albert Behan True West
Albert P. Behan

Wyatt and Josie Earp had no children of their own.  But they did have someone they considered to be like a son—and ironically, he was the real son of Earp enemy John Behan.

Josie helped raise Albert Behan (photo) when she was in a relationship with his father, and even after the pair broke up, Josie and the young man stayed in touch by letter and telephone.  The younger Behan spent most of his life in Arizona, but he visited the Earps in California at least once and Josie saw Albert in Tucson after Wyatt’s death.
